Handling the environment as considerably as possible has for many years been influencing our actions on all levels in our company. Initiated and implemented in a guideline of the company management, numerous programs exist - both for the considerate handling of the enviroment as well as for the permanent improvement in this field. In these sectors economic goals are frequently not contradictory to ecological ones. We not only pursue these goals in fields close to production (e.g. fleet), but also in the purchasing department, in the subject area of office furnishings up to building services.

As follows we list only a few spheres of activity, such as:

• application of low-emission trucks in our own fleet and at subcontractors if possible
• utilization of combined transport (road/rail) with more than 3,000 units per year
• supplementyry utilization of modern HUB systems for the reduction of part load truck services
• considerable paper reduction by paperless long distance transmission data and modern archiving systems
• application of recyled products and returnable packaging
• application of an efficient cargo handling technique as well as building equipment and building services on all our plants locations
