Ascherl is a company under private law and thus subject to the regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz/BDSG) and the Treaty for Media Services (Mediendienstestaatsvertrag/MdStV). Privacy — especially protection of personal data — is from our sight the basis of any confidential cooperation in partnership. Therefore we have made technical and organisational arrangements securing the compliance with privacy regulations through us as well as through external service providers. If you would like to know when and which data we are recording and how we are using them you can inform yourselves on this site. Personal dataEvery time you are visiting us on one of our websites with your browser the server is recording special data (for instance IP address, date, time and visited site). These data are recorded for backup purposes and may allow an identification. However, an identification and personal data use isn’t in our interest. We are availing ourselves of anonymous datasets for statistical analysis because we want to know which sites are visited and which not in order to adapt our offer to your needs as effective as possible. Strictly speaking the recorded data don’t really belong to the field of personal data information as defined by the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz/BDSG) because personal data are information which may be used to find out your identification. This concerns information like your correct name, place of residence, postal address, telephone number. These information are not recorded. The information recorded by us don’t refer directly to your real identity (for instance favoured websites or number of users of one site) and therefore don’t fall into the category of personal data. Term of StorageAll log files are stored for a period of 28 days. The storage is done for reasons of data security and for granting the stability and reliability of our system. Transmission of personal data to third partiesWhen you are contacting us or if you are making a transaction with us you are sending us personal data (for instance name, e-mail address or name of company). We are using these personal data only within our company as well as for the cooperation with external collaborators. We don’t pass your data to third parties without your specific approval. In case of a transmission of data to services providers within the scope of an order execution they are bound to the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz/BDSG), other legal rules and contractually to the privacy guidelines of Ascherl. As far as we are engaged by law or by court decision we will transmit your data to parties authorized to render information. Right of WithdrawalWhen you have transmitted us personal data you are allowed to demand its deletion at any time. This doesn’t apply for purposes of accounting and bookkeeping.
